Animal Health Laboratory
The Animal Health Laboratory (AHL) unit of the Laboratory Services Division
complements the regulatory and analytical testing carried out by the Division.
The AHL is a full-service, fully computerized veterinary diagnostic lab with an
extensive cadre of laboratorians with post-graduate training and specialty board
certification. The AHL provides a single source of laboratory services in the
field of animal health, encompassing both food-producing and companion animals.
If you have questions about interpretation of your AHL report, or require
treatment or health management information, please contact your veterinarian.
If in need of help, your veterinarian is welcome to call us.
The AHL provides specialized diagnostic services to support your veterinarian. We do not give treatment recommendations. Given their knowledge of your premises and of your local area, your own veterinarian is best placed to give you specific information about prevention, treatment, and control of disease.
Note: the AHL User's Guide and Fee Schedule are now available after logging in from the Client Login page.
